Dealer positioning Β· Paul's Bota

The levels the market has to defend.

Somebody sold you that call. He doesn't care where the stock goes β€” he cares about going home flat. So he hedges, all day, mechanically. CheeseAI measures where that hedging piles up, so you can see the levels before price gets there.

No account needed to read it. It's the same document members get.

Above the flip, dealers fade every move and price pins. Below it, they chase β€” and a normal red day turns ugly.

What you're looking at

Three levels do most of the work

Every board is built on the same three. Learn them once and the rest of the app reads itself.

CHEDDAR β€” the call wall

The strike with the heaviest call gamma above price. Dealers sell into strength here, which is where rallies tend to stall.

How often it has turned price away is graded in public, on the track record.

MELT β€” the gamma flip

Where dealer positioning crosses from long to short gamma. Above it the day gets pinned; below it, moves get amplified. It changes the character of the session more than any single level.

BLUE β€” the put wall

The heaviest put gamma below price, where selloffs tend to find buyers β€” though in short gamma a break through it is an air pocket rather than a bounce.

How often it has held is graded in public, on the track record.

Eight boards

One surface per question

Every board carries a plain-English guide written for people who don't trade options yet. Tap the πŸ“˜ on any of them.

Before you buy

What this is, and what it isn't

It won't tell you direction. It shows where hedging pressure concentrates. Price still has to get there on its own, and news doesn't care about gamma.

The header tells you how fresh the data is. On every board it shows whether the option chain, and the price beside it, are live or running behind β€” read off the data's own timestamps, so it never shows a "live" badge over a delayed feed. Open interest, which is what the walls are built from, only settles overnight either way.

It's a model, not a recording. Positioning is built from standing open interest and assumes the usual dealer-sign convention β€” that market makers end up net long the calls and net short the puts, which is what investors selling calls for income and buying puts for protection leaves them holding. That assumption is usually right and sometimes isn't. The handbook says exactly where it's approximate, and it's free to read before you pay.

We publish the misses. At the close, the 0DTE board scores whether price actually finished inside the walls we drew β€” including the days it didn't. That number is in the app whether it flatters us or not, and the running scorecard is public.

Coverage is the difference

Every board and every calculation is identical in both. What changes is how many names you get and whether you can make the board yours. Then pick how much Discord you want with it: App only is the dashboard on its own; + Cheese Discord adds the CheeseAI channels β€” level alerts and the briefs β€” at no extra cost; + Academy adds Paul's Basic Options Trading Academy and his own signals on top.

Get in before it opens

Beta is for paying members of Paul's Basic Options Trading Academy, by approval β€” the boards early, in exchange for telling us what breaks. A paid membership also gets you Paul's own signals, the daily briefs and the members' channels.

Join the Academy
The two Discord rungs are not the same thing. + Cheese Discord is the CheeseAI channels β€” the level alerts and the premarket, opening-bell, hourly midday movers, power-hour, earnings and closing briefs (and a Friday weekly wrap) β€” and costs the same as app-only. + Academy adds Paul's Basic Options Trading Academy on top at half its standalone price: his own signals and the community. The Academy is also sold on its own if the boards aren't what you're after. The app itself is identical on all three.

Questions

The ones people actually ask

Do I need to understand options?

No. Every board has a plain-English guide built in, and the handbook teaches gamma exposure from first principles. Plenty of members trade only shares and use it for levels.

How often does it update?

Through the market session, and on a slower cycle overnight, so the levels are current when you look at them premarket. The top bar always shows the real age of the data and warns you if a scan is late β€” it never quietly shows stale levels.

Where does the data come from?

Live option chains. Every greek β€” gamma, vanna, charm, delta β€” is computed here with Black-Scholes from raw implied volatility and open interest, rather than taken from a vendor's pre-computed exposure number. The maths is reproducible instead of being a black box.

Is this a signal service?

Two answers, because there are two things here. The boards aren't β€” they show where hedging pressure sits, and that's context. Paul's own signals are a separate thing and post in Paul's Basic Options Trading Academy, the members' Discord. Only the + Academy option includes that, at half what the Academy costs on its own. + Cheese Discord is the CheeseAI channels only β€” the level alerts and the briefs, no Paul's signals.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes β€” it's built mobile-first and installs to your home screen like an app. On iPhone it runs best in Safari: that's the smoothest UI, and it's the only iPhone browser that can push level alerts to your phone β€” open it in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. (Chrome and other iPhone browsers show the boards fine but can't send notifications.)

Can I switch tiers later?

Yes, through Whop. If you already hold one tier, switch plans rather than buying the second.

Read it first. Then decide.

The handbook is the same one members get, it's free, and it's honest about what the model assumes. If it doesn't convince you, nothing on this page should have.
